RIKA SENSOR offers two products in this domain: the RK400-01 Tipping Bucket Rain Sensor (a mechanical rain gauge) and the RK400-13 Radar Rain Sensor (a non-contact, radar-based device).
The RK200-03 Solar Pyranometer Radiation Sensor is a top-of-the-line device for solar radiation measurement. Operating on the thermopile principle, its sensing elements are crafted from winding-plated thermopiles with multiple contacts. The surface is coated with a high-absorption black coating. When exposed to sunlight, the temperature difference between the hot contacts on the surface and the cold junction inside the body generates an electromotive force. This thermoelectric effect is directly proportional to the solar radiation. To mitigate the impact of ambient temperature, a temperature compensation circuit is integrated.
