The lead time for customized products depends on the depth of modification and technical complexity. Rika Sensor utilizes agile manufacturing processes to ensure every environmental sensor meets your unique requirements while maintaining optimal delivery speed.

• Software or Parameter Fine-Tuning (approx. +1 week)

This includes Modbus register modifications, specific sampling rate adjustments, output range redefinition, or non-standard signal scaling. Since these are primarily software-driven, they only require an additional week for firmware flashing and stability validation on top of our standard weather station delivery schedule.

• Hardware Circuitry or Structural Modifications (approx. +2 to 3 weeks)

This involves PCB layout adjustments (e.g., adding enhanced surge protection), non-standard cable connector customization, or housing material changes (e.g., upgrading to 316L stainless steel). These modifications require sourcing specific components and conducting prototype assembly to ensure they meet the weather sensors best reliability standards.

• Full Industrial Design & Tooling Development (additional 4 to 8 weeks)

For comprehensive aesthetic redesigns, new structural enclosures, or complex mechanical interface developments. This stage accounts for mold design, tooling, trial runs, and environmental reliability testing.
