Fully implement the dust monitoring system, coexisting demand and technical problems
In order to carry out the 'Blue Sky Action on Construction Site' in depth, strengthen the control of dust and noise pollution at construction sites, and resolutely win the battle of pollution prevention, relevant departments in various regions formulate work plans for the management of construction noise and dust systems in accordance with policies, and fully implement the dust monitoring system.

Flying dust is a very complex source of dust. Currently, there is no unified definition of flying dust at home and abroad. In the field of environmental protection, the 'Technical Specification for Prevention and Control of Urban Fugitive Dust Pollution' (HJ/T 393-2007) pointed out that fugitive dust is air particulate matter of a certain size range formed when loose particulate matter on the ground enters the ambient air under the action of natural or human forces. It is divided into soil dust, construction dust, road dust and storage yard dust.

Demand and application status of dust monitoring system

In the early stage of industry development, dust monitoring equipment was mostly based on the β-ray absorption method. However, due to the large size and high cost of the instrument, the demand for large quantities and wide areas could not be met. Be truly satisfied.

At present, the principle of dust monitoring equipment is mostly based on light scattering. When light is irradiated on particles suspended in the air, light scattering occurs. Under certain conditions of optical system and dust properties, the intensity of scattered light is proportional to the dust concentration. The light scattering method determines the dust concentration in the air by measuring the intensity of scattered light, and obtaining the dust mass concentration through conversion.

Therefore, being able to accurately measure PM2.5/PM10/TSP at the same time, small size, low purchase and maintenance costs have become the main challenges faced by dust monitoring equipment.

For the supervision of dust, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has currently compiled the 'Technical Guidelines for the Compilation of Particulate Matter Inventory of Fugitive Dust Sources (Trial)The traditional domestic manual monitoring is post-mortem monitoring. This method requires a lot of labor costs, and at the same time it cannot solve the embarrassing situation of multi-faceted and wide-ranging. The emergence of a new generation of intelligent dust monitoring systems can be said to solve this difficulty.

The fugitive dust monitoring system can provide data support for air pollution prevention and control and pollution source analysis by monitoring particulate matter. At present, the environmental monitoring indicators that reflect the dust include: total suspended particulate matter, PM10, PM2.5, dust fall, etc.

Technical difficulties faced by outdoor dust monitoring systems

1. Maintain a high linear correlation with β-ray principle equipment

The national station monitoring equipment adopts β-ray principle, other dust monitoring The monitoring data of the station must be highly consistent with it, but due to the difference in principle, to do this, the sensor needs to use higher-performance devices to effectively improve the ability of particle recognition.

2. Meet the outdoor working temperature requirements of -30℃~70℃

The temperature has a great influence on the laser tube, but the outdoor temperature range is wider, and the temperature may reach 70 when exposed to the sun in summer. ℃; In winter, the temperature in severely cold northern regions may reach minus 30℃. This requires it not only to work normally at this temperature, but also to ensure the accuracy of detection.

3. Monitoring accuracy is not affected by water mist

Because the outdoor environment often encounters frost and dew, the water vapor entering the sensor will seriously affect the measured value of the sensor, and even cause the sensor Permanent damage.

4. Long-term use, the accuracy is not affected by dust accumulation

The dust sensor works outdoors, and the large particles of dust passing through the sensor sampling air duct will be affected by gravity and adhere to the inside of the sensor. Long-term use will cause the dust to stay inside the sensor. A large amount of accumulation inside the sensor affects the measurement accuracy.
