1. Air conditioning requirements (the key to energy saving in data centers)

Article 4.4.1.3 of the computer room site national standard GB2887-89 computer station site technical conditions stipulates the ambient temperature and humidity standards in the computer room when it is turned on.

The ambient temperature is: Class A 22±2°C, Class B 15-30°C, Class C 10~35°C;

Environmental humidity: Class A 45%-65%, Class B 40% ~70%, C level 30%~80%;

The standard of general communication equipment room should reach the A level standard.

2. Requirements for air supply

IT equipment requires 150~595m³/h air flow per KW power consumption (calculated by temperature rise). The air conditioner must meet the requirements of the rack, otherwise it will cause the rack to inhale its own exhaust air and eventually cause overheating.

3. Requirements for the fresh air system

The purpose of fresh air is to maintain the positive pressure in the computer room; the purpose of maintaining the positive pressure in the computer room is to ensure the cleanliness and relative humidity of the computer room. The more versatile fresh air unit has the functions of filtering outdoor air, humidifying, dehumidifying, cooling and heating.

4. Requirements for static electricity

The electrostatic potential of the insulator in the host room should not be greater than the electrostatic leakage resistance of the ground of the machine room and the electrostatic potential of the insulator should also comply with relevant regulations.

5. Requirements for noise

When the computer system is shut down, the noise in the computer room should be less than 6SdB(A) when tested at the center of the host room.

6. Requirement of contrast

The computer room is 0.8m from the ground, and the illuminance should not be less than 3001x, and the illuminance of the auxiliary room should not be less than 2001x.

7. Requirements for cleanliness

Air cleanliness: particles larger than 0.5μm in each liter of air should be less than 18,000 particles. (Grade A)

8. Requirements for harmful gases

Sulfur dioxide≤0.15mg/m³, hydrogen sulfide≤0.01mg/m³ (Grade A)

Sulfur dioxide≤1mg/m³, hydrogen sulfide≤ 0.1mg/m³ (Grade B)

At an ambient temperature of 25±5℃ and a relative humidity of 40%~80%.

9. Requirements for the continuity of the air conditioning and refrigeration system

After the air conditioner is out of operation, the IT equipment can continue to operate using the cold air heat in the room. The UPS air conditioner can provide a larger circulating air volume (generally the construction of the computer room is completed, During the test, the temperature rise test will be carried out; the temperature rise of the computer room can also be obtained by calculation; in general, it can be compared with the temperature rise test of the dummy load.)

10. Requirements for radio interference field strength

When the frequency is 0.15~1000MHz, it is not more than 126dB.

11. Requirements for magnetic field interference

The field strength of magnetic field interference is not more than 800A/m, and it must be set according to the specified size.

12. Requirements for floor vibration acceleration value

Under the condition of computer system shutdown, the vertical and horizontal vibration acceleration value of the floor surface of the host room should not be greater than 500mm/s.

13. Requirements for resistance

The electrostatic leakage resistance of the floor and work surface of the host room should meet the requirements of the current national standard GE6650-1986 'Technical Requirements for Raised Floors for Computer Room'.
