WORKING PROCESS & DIMENSION
Rainfall is captured in the 200mm diametercollector funnel and is directed through adelivery pipe to fill a divided ABS injectionmolded tipping bucket device.The bucketis pivoted through its center and has apreset calibration to tip for 0.2 mm ofrainfall.When the bucket is “full”,it pivotsand empties -this action magneticallycloses and opens a reed switch,sending apulse signal to the data logger or electroniccounter.Through this tipping“seesaw”action,the other side of the bucket isaligned to receive the flow from the deliverypipe.This recording and tipping cyclecontinues with rainfall.
