An ultrasonic liquid level sensor is a non-contact device designed to measure the level of liquids (and in some cases, solids) using ultrasonic technology.


Core Working Principle

The device emits ultrasonic pulses via a built-in transducer. These pulses travel through air (or other gaseous media) to the liquid surface. Upon contacting the surface, the pulses reflect back to the transducer. The device calculates the time interval between the transmitted and received pulses, and converts this time difference into distance using a preset ultrasonic propagation speed—ultimately determining the liquid level height.

- Protection Rating & Operating Temperature: The probe has an IP68 ingress protection rating, and the display unit has an IP66 rating. The probe operates within a temperature range of -20℃ to +80℃, while the display unit operates from -20℃ to +60℃, making it suitable for complex environments like outdoor agricultural irrigation and reservoir monitoring in cold regions.
